This was a 2-hour webinar where we explained how astronauts use music therapy to survive in long-isolated space travel, introduced you to the history of astronomy and why you should be excited about this field. About the speakers:
Saatvik Mayank Agrawal:
Saatvik graduated from The Indian High School, Dubai in July 2021 with 97% in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Engineering Graphics, and English. He aims to study mechanical or electrical engineering at university. He has indicated talent in public speaking, entrepreneurship, design thinking, and leadership. He is passionate about education and environmental conservation. He utilized his gap year to bring his passion project- Freedom Chair to its next iteration, directed business strategies at Eureka Education to bring STEAM project-based learning closer to students in Indian curriculum schools in UAE, completed various engineering training, facilitated workshops to promote VR based learning and volunteered to teach biology and mathematics at social organizations. He is also engaged in fellowships and research projects within computer science and engineering. He has been associated with Astrobeat since its inception in July 2021, he is in charge of conducting workshops on astronomy catered to students from Grades 5 to 9 and consults with Astrobeats founder Fida Mohammed Shebeaun to implement event management and business strategies to grow club membership and design the camp curriculum. In this webinar, he discussed the history of astronomy and why you should be excited about the future of this career.
Fida Mohammed Shebeaun:
Fida is the Founder & Director at AstroBeat. She is a junior at Raha International School, Abu Dhabi. She is a fiercely open, gregarious student with a deep passion for STEM and who's committed to leveraging her dream of astrophysics and aerospace engineering to making the world a better place. She loves music and is currently doing the piano and is working on creating a comprehensive and diverse space community. She is a strong supporter of women representation, especially in the field of STEM and is working on holding fundraisers and other fun activities to promote girl power!
